Devon GP Nursing New to Practice Fellowship
If you are within 12 months of qualification, or within 12 months of taking up your first post in General Practice, and you hold a substantive role in General Practice in Devon, you are eligible to join the Devon New to Practice Fellowship - a 2 year funded programme of education, peer support, career development and mentoring. Eligibility:
- Newly qualified (within the last 12 months) OR within 12 of starting your first role in general practice
- Hold or about to hold a substantive salaried contract within Devon Primary Care
- Be working to provide primary medical services
Funding:
Funding is available to the practice, to fund the Fellow for 1 session (4 hours) per week (based on full-time at 37.5 hours/week) of protected time order to participate fully in all elements of the NTPF scheme.
The funding may be used to support an additional session for the Fellow in order to participate in the NTPF. It can also be used to fund cover if the agreement is for the individual to lose a session in order to participate. This agreement will be reached between the Practice and the Fellow.
