The presentation also covers sleep anxiety and stress, sleep hygiene, ways of introducing stress management and relaxation techniques, what to do when you have a bad night and why early nights and lie-ins may not be recommended for people with sleep problems. It will also cover instances in which people with poor sleep need to be clinically assessed for a sleep disorder. The session will also cover how to introduce a Sleep Action Plan with patients when you have limited time in practice to support them, and concludes with a discussion of some anonymised case studies.
