Course
Overview
This 2-day foundation course is suitable for Health and Wellbeing Coaches,
Social Prescribers, Care Co-ordinators, and other frontline roles in Primary
Care Networks (PCNs), neighbourhood teams, and the voluntary/community sector.
You will
develop coaching skills that empower people to take greater control of their
health and wellbeing by learning how to personalise your support. The course is
grounded in personalised care principles and supports prevention,
self-management, and improved patient experience.

Coaches (required as Part 1 of the 4-day accredited programme)
- Social Prescribing
Link Workers and Care Co-ordinators (recommended during role induction)

across health, care, community, or voluntary sectors seeking to develop personalised
coaching skills, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

readiness and capacity for change

sensitivity in your coaching practice

development throughout each module, with opportunities for skills practice

Pathway
to Accreditation
To become a fully accredited Health and Wellbeing Coach, you must complete:
- Part 1: 2-day Foundation Course
- Part 2: The 2-day Advanced Personalised
Health and Wellbeing Coaching Course
Part 2 must
be completed within 6 months of completing Part 1 to achieve full
accreditation, with flexible scheduling to suit your personal and
organisational needs.
