What are the training requirements for Safeguarding in Primary Care?

Level 3 (Child Safeguarding) and Level 3 (Adult Safeguarding) is currently recommended for

  • GPs
  • GP Trainees
  • Practice Nurses
  • Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners
  • Paramedics working in the primary care setting
  • Pharmacists working to deliver services in Care Homes and in GP Practices
  • Advanced Practitioners who are working independently in primary care settings

Where can I access Safeguarding Training? - Online & e-learning for primary care

Bluestream e-learning is available FREE to all practices in Devon, funded by Learning and Development Centre.

  • Level 1, 2 and 3 - Safeguarding Children & Young People
  • Level 1, 2 - Safeguarding Adults

E-Learning for Health is available FREE to all NHS staff and some NHS affiliated staff.

An NHS email address is required to register.
